Sat 14th August

Managed all the chores (see above) apart from the eye test and mowing the lawn. Went to the opticians but forgot the voucher that gives me a cheap test. And it's rained off and on so the grass is too wet to mow.

Ran at ParkRun in Banstead Wood. Under 27mins for 5k (including a bit of a hill). Really enjoyed that. Then went back to bed after a shower! Been so tired recently that it's so good to try and catch up.

Haircut at the new place in Merstham. They gave me tea too. Cheapest place around, friendliest people, good music, free tea on a Saturday and the best cut too.

Then the supermarket followed by macchiato doppio ... and another rest.

Sun is out briefly. Took a few macro photos in the back garden. Good to have my Nikon out - even if only for a few minutes.
